	This piece is a joyous and exuberant chorus from Antonio Vivaldi’s Domine ad adjuvandum me festina, a polychoral motet based upon Psalm 69. Originally scored for two choirs, this edition by Patrick Liebergen is a shortened version of the first of three movements, with a keyboard reduction of the full orchestral score and an optional trumpet part provided as the accompaniment. 	This original concert work written by Greg Gilpin was commissioned by the Ohio Music Education Association and is energetic and stunning in its multi-metered writing. The Latin setting moves from crisp rhythms to legato sections, unison to homophonic singing. A wide range of dynamics is used throughout and the percussion adds excitement with the syncopated piano accompaniment.
